My name is Diana Meade and I want to welcome you to read my writing.

Here you will get to learn more about me and take my writing for a test drive.

I have never formally written memoirs except for myself in journals. I have journaled my life stories as long as I can remember. I have stacks of spiral notebooks in an old cabinet in my garage.

It seems to me that you must be an excellent listener to make someone else' story come to life for another reader. I have lots of friends and family who will tell you that I know how to listen. I come from a long line of talkers who knew how to hold the floor, so I learned to listen from the cradle. My grandfather was known in our community for holding on to the outside rear-view mirror on his neighbors' trucks to keep them from driving off before he finished his last story.
